About This Blog

This blog, simply put, is a collection of all the random sources of Catholic insight, knowledge, history, and book excerpts that I’ve found helpful in explaining and defending my Catholic faith as well as any other Catholic related material which I’ve found highlights or enhances my understanding.

I want nothing more than to really collate my collection of notes into something I, and others, can reference and perhaps find useful in learning about Catholicism.  However, I’ve often times addressed issues stemming from the differences found in Protestantism and Catholicism.  In order to clarify the specific denominations I’m referring to, please read this entry.

Thanks Christine! I myself have just started to realize how little I know about our faith. I was prompted to learn more by listening to the Catholic Channel on my sattelite radio. Those programs offer such a great many looks into the Catholic faith that I feel I am always learning something. Now I have your Blog to turn to also!! Keep up the good work!

Thank you, Lee, so very much for the kind words. I am so encouraged to know that you’re finding out more about our faith and that you feel my blog is a source with which you can turn as well. I would absolutely recommend checking out because their radio show archives helped me immeasurably. Especially the “Open Forum” radio shows and the “Open Forum for non-Catholics”. If you ever have questions about something and I haven’t written about it, don’t hesitate to ask me and I’ll try to answer them. God bless and keep learning. Our Church is an ocean of knowledge, and deep riches of faith. 😉
